2023 Summer Rookie Softball

(Roster Spots Limited and NOT for Travel players)

Verona girls in First and Second Grade split their time developing softball skills and playing games with rules more in line with the next level of play, meeting twice per week. Participants will meet once a week for a clinic where the girls will focus specifically on softball skillwork. On the second day, participants will play a softball game with the children batting and coaches pitching while incorporating higher-level rules including three outs per inning and strikeouts.

Participants receive t-shirt. A softball glove is needed. Each Rookie League team has a manager. For parents willing to help please contact the VBSL to obtain proper certification. (info@veronabaseballsoftball.com)

Participants must be attending 1st or 2nd Grade as of Fall 2022 to be eligible for this program.
