2018 Spring Travel Softball Tryouts

November 1st & 5th, 2017

The Verona Baseball Softball League will be holding tryouts for our 2018 Spring Softball TRAVEL teams.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1                             SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5

8U Softball:  6 PM; Everett Field                              8U Softball: 2 PM; Everett Field

10U Softball: 7 PM; Everett Field                            10U Softball: 3 PM; Everett Field

12U Softball: 8 PM; Everett Field                            12U Softball: 4 PM; Everett Field

14U Softball: 9 PM; Everett Field                            14U Softball: 5 PM; Everett Field

*Everett Field is located on the corner of Bloomfield Ave and Elmwood Rd.*

All eligible players must attend at least one tryout; We recommend players attend both sessions.  If a player is unable to attend one of the designated tryout times, you must contact the below travel softball commissioner to arrange a tryout in advance of the above dates. There will be no additional tryout dates offered beyond the dates set forth above as teams will be selected following the November 5 tryout.     

Players will participate in a sixteen-week season comprised of indoor and outdoor training.  Season begins in January and will continue into early June.Teams will engage in indoor training in January/February/March.  Games usually commence the beginning of April and continue into early June.  All participants must register for in-town league prior to the travel season beginning and play in 75% of the in-town games.

ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER BY MONDAY, OCTOBER 30.  To register, visit our website at www.veronabaseballsoftball.com. Registration can be found under "2018 Spring Tryout Registration" The VBSL reserves the right to cancel tryouts at any prospective level based on the number of registered participants as of the registration deadline (10/30/17).

Any individuals interested in managing one of our spring travel softball teams must submit their name for consideration to the below travel softball commissioner by Monday, October 30.
