2024 11U Spring/Summer Travel Baseball Tryout Registration

The Verona Baseball Softball League will be holding tryouts for our 2024 Spring/Summer 11U TRAVEL BASEBALL team. Exact times and locations of the 11U travel baseball team tryouts are still to be determined and all individuals who register will be provided with that information as it becomes available.

All 11U eligible players (Born between May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2013 or 5th grade) must attend at least one of the scheduled tryouts.

Please note this Tryout will determine the roster for the 2024 Spring and Summer 11U Travel team. If a player would only like to play Summer travel, they can defer their roster spot until the Summer season. If a player would only like to play Spring travel, they can decline their invite to the summer roster team. A summer tryout will be announced if roster spots open up.

The games for the VBSL Spring travel teams usually commence in the beginning of April and continue into mid-June. Summer travel season typically commences mid-June through the end of July. Teams may engage in indoor training in January/February/March. All travel team participants must register for the VBSL in-town RECREATION league prior to the travel season beginning and play in 75% of the RECREATION in-town games to remain eligible to play for the travel team.

Travel fees will be charged $275 per player per season. Fees include one tournament per season. Coaches and teams are also expected to engage in winter training activities at an additional fee per player. Depending on the scope of training this could be an additional $100-300 per player.

The VBSL reserves the right to cancel tryouts at any prospective level based on the number of registered participants as of the registration deadline (10/20/2023).

Any individuals interested in managing one of our Spring/ Summer travel baseball or softball teams must submit their name for consideration to info@veronabaseballsoftball.com by Friday, October 20, 2023. If you are currently managing a team, you must still submit your name as interested to be considered for the job.
