2018 Summer TRAVEL SOFTBALL Tryouts

May 19 and May 20, 2018

The Verona Baseball Softball League will be holding tryouts for our 2018 Summer Softball TRAVEL teams.

SATURDAY, MAY 19                                              SUNDAY, MAY 20

 8U Softball:  9 AM; Liberty Field                               8U Softball: 12 PM; VHS Softball

12U Softball: 10 AM; Liberty Field                            10U Softball: 1 PM;VHS Softball

10U Softball: 11 AM; Liberty Field                            12U Softball: 2 PM; VHS Softball

14U Softball: 12 PM; Liberty Field                            14U Softball: 3 PM; VHS Softball

*Liberty Field is located on White Rock Road in Verona; VHS Softball is on Sampson Drive at Verona High School*

All eligible players must attend at least one tryout; We recommend players attend both sessions.  If a player is unable to attend one of the designated tryout times, you must contact the below travel softball commissioner to arrange a tryout in advance of the above dates. There will be no additional tryout dates offered beyond the dates set forth above as teams will be selected following the May 20 tryout.    

Players will participate in a six-week season comprised of outdoor training and games..  Season begins in June and will continue through July.   All participants must have participated in the 2018 in-town league prior to the travel season and have played in 75% of the in-town games. 

ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER BY Thursday, May 17.  To register, visit our website at www.veronabaseballsoftball.com. Registration can be found under "2018 Summer Tryout Registration" The VBSL reserves the right to cancel tryouts at any prospective level based on the number of registered participants as of the registration deadline 5/17/18).

Any individuals interested in managing one of our spring travel softball teams must submit their name for consideration to the below travel softball commissioner by Thursday, May 17.
